This<br \/>\ninformation will be useful for neurologists and neurosurgeons or ophthalmologists<br \/>\nin case of visual function disorders.<\/p>\n<p>MRI of the pituitary gland visualizes macro- and microadenomas, cysts, inflammatory changes in the organ,<br \/>\nabnormalities of its development, craniopharyngiomas, tumor metastases.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, MRI diagnostics of the pituitary gland is performed with contrast. Specialist<br \/>\ninjects a contrast agent into a vein and simultaneously takes a series of images in different<br \/>\nphases of contrasting.
